Structured training deserves a structured engine
The best programs are not exercise lists. They are architectures of effort: blocks with precise formats, calculated intervals, deliberate rest periods. If your app doesn't understand this logic, the intent of the program gets lost on every session.
ZON was built to run real programs, not flat lists.
What the workout player handles for you
Circuits and supersets
The player identifies each circuit block in your program and manages the rotation. Completed exercises collapse into compact rows, the current exercise expands into a full card, and upcoming exercises appear as subtle previews. No manual navigation required.
EMOM and interval blocks
For EMOM (every minute on the minute) or interval formats, ZON starts the timer at the top of the minute, advances the block and handles work and rest transitions with haptics and audio. You never look at your phone to know when to go.
Block focus mode
Switch any block to full screen. The interface reduces to the essentials: current exercise, timer, set log. Everything else disappears. Total concentration, minimal interaction.
Live Activities and Apple Watch
Rest timers and transitions follow you to your Lock Screen and your watch. Log a set from your wrist, advance a block or start a recovery timer without touching your phone.
Supported formats
| Format | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Classic set | Weight, reps and RPE logging, configurable rest timer |
| Superset / circuit | Automatic rotation, rest after the full round |
| EMOM | Timer locked to the minute, auto-advance |
| Time intervals | Work, rest, repeat, with a time cap |
| Hybrid cardio (run) | Seamless switch to the full-screen GPS tracker |
| Hyrox stations | Runs and stations chained in the same session |
Program intent, preserved
A well-built program contains precise decisions about effort density, fatigue management and progression, whether you wrote it yourself, imported it or let the AI generate it. The workout player respects those decisions instead of flattening them into a basic list.
