The debrief is where learning happens
Most athletes finish a session and immediately move on. The data stays in the log, unseen, unused. ZON interrupts that pattern with a mandatory debrief moment: a structured screen that surfaces what just happened before you leave the gym.
This is where the feedback loop closes.
What the debrief shows you
Volume delta
Every completed session is compared to the previous time you ran the same workout or training block. ZON shows the delta in total tonnage, total reps, and time under load. Green means you progressed. Red means you regressed. Context makes the difference.
Performance highlights
ZON automatically identifies the standout moments from your session:
- Personal records hit (heaviest set, most reps at a given weight)
- Exercises where your performance jumped compared to baseline
- Intensity markers relative to your RPE history
These aren't generated by AI guessing. They're pulled directly from the logged data compared against your training history.
Coach notes and feedback
If you're working with a coach, the debrief screen shows any notes they've added to the session in advance: cues to focus on, targets to hit, context for why this session is structured the way it is. After completion, your coach can add post-session feedback that appears in your history.
The share card
One tap from the debrief screen generates a shareable session card: your key stats, the session name, and your performance highlights, formatted as an image. Share it to your ZON community feed, your Tribe, or export it for your stories.
The card is designed to be visually minimal and data-forward. Not a vanity post. A training signal.
Saved to your history
Every debriefed session is stored in your training history with full detail: every set, every rep, every RPE note, and the debrief summary. Search by exercise, by date, or by program block. Your history is a training database, not a scroll.
Available on iOS and Android (private beta). Debrief is automatically triggered after every session completion.
