An exercise without a clear demonstration is a liability

Every exercise you program carries an execution risk if your athlete doesn't know exactly how to perform it. In person, you can demo it. Online, you need the library to do that work for you.

ZON's exercise library ensures that every movement in your program can be demonstrated on demand.

The exercise vault (coaches)

The exercise vault in ZON Coach HQ gives you a searchable database of standard exercises with descriptions, primary muscle targets, and demo video references.

Filter by:

  • Muscle group (primary and secondary)
  • Equipment required (barbell, dumbbell, cable, bodyweight, machine)
  • Movement pattern (push, pull, hinge, squat, carry, core)

When building a program in the Program Builder, you select exercises directly from the vault. Any exercise you've created yourself appears in your personal library and can be added to any program.

Custom exercise creation

Your methodology includes exercises that don't exist in any standard database. A specific banded warm-up variation, a cable setup unique to your approach, a rehabilitation drill you've developed. ZON lets you create custom exercises with:

  • Name and description
  • Primary and secondary muscle targets
  • Your own coaching cues and technical notes
  • A video demonstration (upload your own or link externally)

Custom exercises are stored in your personal library and visible only to you and your athletes inside their programs.

In-session exercise lookup (athletes)

During an active session, athletes can tap the info button on any exercise to open its detail view without leaving the session. They see the demo video, the coaching cues, and the muscle targets. Then they close it and continue the set.

No searching YouTube mid-session. No messaging you for a clarification. The information is exactly where they need it.

For athletes: building your own exercises

Athletes with premium access can also create their own exercises and add them to custom workouts. Useful for tracking accessory movements, rehabilitation work, or sport-specific drills that aren't in the standard library.
