Nutrition decoupled from training, not bolted on
Most nutrition apps operate in silos. You enter foods, you get a total, you hope it aligns with your program. There's no connection between what you eat and what you lift.
ZON starts from the premise that nutrition is a performance variable. It's integrated into the same ecosystem as your program, your check-in, and your weekly report.
Diet strategy as the backbone
Instead of randomly counting calories, ZON structures your nutrition around a diet strategy defined by you or your coach:
- Bulk, targeted caloric surplus with protein-priority distribution
- Cut, controlled deficit with muscle mass protection
- Maintenance, balance for performance and recovery
- Specific protocols, carb cycling, refeeds, eating windows
From this strategy and your data (weight, goal, activity level), ZON calculates your daily macros and automatically distributes them per meal according to your defined meal times.
The meal timeline
In your SpatialHub, the nutrition widget displays your day's timeline meal by meal: breakfast, lunch, post-workout snack, dinner. For each window, you see target macros and what you've already consumed.
At the end of the day, you see exactly whether you held the strategy. No mental math needed, ZON shows deltas in green or red.
Quick Log, for the real world
Perfect plans meet real life: a handful of nuts between meetings, a banana before training. Quick Log lets you add an unplanned food item in 5 seconds: food name, estimated quantity, and ZON calculates macros from its embedded food database. No barcode scanning. No searching through 5 million entries.
Food equivalences
Not sure how to hit your 200g of protein? ZON provides concrete food equivalences: "You're missing 45g of protein. That's the equivalent of 200g of cooked chicken breast, or 250g of Greek yogurt." References, not abstract numbers.
Available on iOS and Android (private beta). Nutrition integrated in SpatialHub, zero third-party app setup required.
